Terms of Service

Effective Date: 16 July 2026

1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the services provided by Northbridge Mobile Solutions Ltd, a mobile device repair and support business with its principal place of business at Northbridge Mobile, 14 St Mary's Grove, Birmingham, B12 9RS, UK (the “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By booking, purchasing, requesting, or otherwise using any service from Northbridge Mobile Solutions Ltd, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our services.

These Terms apply to all customers, including individual consumers and business customers, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing by Northbridge Mobile Solutions Ltd.

2. Scope of Services

Northbridge Mobile Solutions Ltd provides mobile device-related services, which may include, without limitation:

We may also provide related diagnostic, advisory, and support services where reasonably necessary to perform the requested work. All services are subject to device compatibility, parts availability, and our technical assessment.

Any estimate of time, cost, or outcome provided before or during service is an estimate only and may change if additional issues are identified during inspection or repair.

3. User Obligations and Responsibilities

You agree to:

You acknowledge that certain repairs may involve opening the device, which can void manufacturer warranties or compromise original water resistance or dust resistance. We shall not be responsible for any such effects unless caused by our negligence and cannot be avoided by the nature of the service requested.

If a device contains personal, sensitive, or regulated data, you are solely responsible for ensuring that appropriate safeguards, consents, and backups are in place before service is undertaken.

4. Payment Terms and Conditions

Prices for services or parts may be provided before work begins, but all prices are subject to confirmation following inspection. If additional faults or required parts are identified, we may revise the quotation and will ordinarily seek your approval before proceeding, except where necessary to complete an agreed diagnostic or where the additional work is minor and within a reasonable tolerance of the original estimate.

Unless otherwise stated:

Accepted payment methods may include cash, card, bank transfer, or other methods made available by us from time to time. Any charges applied by your payment provider or bank are your responsibility.

If payment is reversed, charged back, or otherwise disputed without reasonable cause, you may be liable for the associated costs, fees, and reasonable administrative expenses incurred by us, to the extent permitted by law.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

You may cancel a service request before work has started. If parts have been ordered, a cancellation fee may apply to cover non-recoverable costs, including special-order parts and administrative expenses.

Once repair or diagnostic work has commenced, cancellation may not be possible without charge, particularly where labour has already been performed or parts have been consumed, fitted, or custom-ordered.

Refunds, if any, are issued at our discretion and in accordance with applicable law and the following principles:

Where a repair is unsuccessful due to the condition of the device, pre-existing damage, parts incompatibility, or reasons beyond our control, diagnostic fees and labour already incurred remain payable.

If you fail to collect a device within a reasonable period after completion or notice, we may impose reasonable storage charges and may, after giving notice and subject to applicable law, treat the device as abandoned.

6. Liability Limitations

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Northbridge Mobile Solutions Ltd shall not be liable for:

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability which cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability in connection with any service shall, to the extent permitted by law, be limited to the amount paid by you for the relevant service giving rise to the claim.

You acknowledge that device repairs and diagnostics involve inherent risks. While we will take reasonable care and skill, outcomes cannot always be guaranteed, especially where devices have pre-existing damage, water ingress, prior modifications, or multiple system failures.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights in our website, branding, materials, documentation, repair procedures, service descriptions, and any content created or supplied by Northbridge Mobile Solutions Ltd remain our property or the property of our licensors, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit any of our intellectual property without our prior written consent.

Any feedback, suggestions, or improvements you provide to us may be used by us without restriction or compensation, subject to applicable law.

Where repair work involves software updates, configurations, or installation of third-party software, all rights in such third-party materials remain with their respective owners and are subject to their own licence terms.

8. Data Protection and Privacy

We process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy laws and our privacy practices. By using our services, you acknowledge that we may collect, use, store, and process personal data necessary to provide our services, manage our relationship with you, comply with legal obligations, and protect our legitimate interests.

Depending on the service requested, we may temporarily access information stored on your device for diagnostics, troubleshooting, data transfer, or setup purposes. We will only access data to the extent reasonably necessary to perform the service requested by you.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have all necessary rights and permissions to provide any data, content, credentials, or access information to us. You should remove or protect sensitive information before handing over your device, unless it is required for the service.

We may retain records relating to repairs, purchases, communications, and warranty claims for administrative, legal, accounting, and customer support purposes.

If you wish to exercise any rights relating to your personal data, or if you have questions about our data handling practices, you may contact us using the details in Section 12.

9. Force Majeure

Northbridge Mobile Solutions Ltd shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

Where a force majeure event affects our performance, we will make reasonable efforts to mitigate the impact and resume services as soon as reasonably practicable.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update or modify these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, operations, legal requirements, or business practices.

The updated Terms will apply from the date stated in the revised version or, where required, after reasonable notice has been provided. Continued use of our services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

The version of the Terms in effect at the time you place your order or request service will generally apply to that transaction, unless a change is required by law or expressly agreed otherwise.

11. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable in the United Kingdom, as relevant to the place where the service is provided and to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Any dispute, claim, or matter arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts having authority over the location of Northbridge Mobile Solutions Ltd, unless mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.

13. Severability Clause

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a court or competent authority, that provision shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, or, if that is not possible, severed from these Terms.

The remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the rest of these Terms.
